He loosened BOTH bolts after checking and saying the coil gap was correct.When he checked the coil bolts and said they were tight, he was wiggling the coil and it had play in it.
Edit: He loosened the top bolt after checking if it was tight.
An arc flywheel can be freewheeled much higher. With one simple arc flywheel the explosion would have come from the next weak part down the line.He’s a moron for freewheeling an engine like that. For a split second it probably went to 9 or 10 grand and that’s all it takes. Seen morons blow car engines the same way.

Any idea what the cause of this was? Looks like an abrupt stop or the key was just a bit too big but they hammered it on anyway.
And the moral of the story is, don’t free rev an engine without a load to control the RPMs!!!!
