oh here you guys go, this is what happens when you cut through a pipe and the disk kicks back. good thing the piece broke off INSIDE the pipe, although i wasnt able to see how fast it went, lol.
I was just using a disc today for the first time in months and well, after seeing some photos and reading stories on here, I never regained full confidence in those thin little things.
oh alright cool.. we have a cheap grinder easily done about 100+ hours, its in bits no spindle lock, rattles and is covered in the spray from the disk...got a dewalt done the same work and its perfect...a big differance in design/quality.
you could just clean the disk dust stuff off it. i broke the disk lock on my dremel but that was because i pressed it at full rpm to see what would happen.
uhh, yahh it broke. i just cut part of the case open with a hack saw so i need to hold it with pliers to unlock it, but at least i can still use it.
i just attack it with a cold chisel.
it helps to remove the guard before doing it though.
im glad we have people like blue so we dont have to try stupid things that are so tempting like putting an auto car itto reverse while driving down the freeway
Throw it into neutral and hit the brakes. But it was in the Prius and we all know that those who drive a Prius aren't the ones to know how an engine works. Just that our nice, torquey 2 strokes are ruining the atmosphere.
