Haven’t you guys ever heard of a tunnel ram?
As a matter of fact Yes, and Dodge/Chrysler referred to it as a "Cross Ram manifold" and theres a reason they disappeared faster than they showed up without ever really catching on.
They only had potential, but were otherwise a temperamental pile if junk to dial in that most scrapped for better upgrades instead.
That is basically what that is. Gasket match it, smooth out the inside with a long carbide burr on a die grinder.
not worth the bit or time
Do not polish it leave it rough.
this is true of any intake manifold. Smooth collects fuel wich then breaks away in droplets instead of staying a mist, or more appropriately "atomized"
And richen up the mixture. Put the air filter back on or an air filter of some sort.
That's the single biggest downfall and reason for cross ram manifolds being a useless relic!
If it's not near flooding rich it doesn't run for sh!t, when gas was half dollar a gallon nobody gave a rodents rectum.
Then the 70's executed cheap gas and TRUE American muscle cars... this computerized trash they make now isn't American and 500hp or not isn't muscle.
So again NOBODY with any amount of actually intelligence is going to piss about trying to tune the world's worst intake design with current fuel prices to get maybe 8 miles to the gallon 10 if you're lucky.
