my list is mostly bought but this is what it was, just waiting on some slow ebay gaskets to come

I've decided that the forced induction will be saved for another engine(probably a Predator).
Reason being is that this is my first go kart and engine, and as such I am attached to it. I tend to get attached to things that could kill or hurt me. Dogs, electronic equipment, go karts.
To make it clear everyone, I am not going to rig up a forced induction system on my Briggs and Stratton, but I plan to do it in the future with a different frame and a Predator 212 or the likes.
I simply don't want to risk screwing up my engine or frame, or simply being disappointed with the results.

'electronic equipment' means amateur radio equipment. For instance, I have two 12V 9Ah sealed lead acid batteries, and I treat them with almost the same respect as bombs.

Ummm...why? Its an SLA battery, you can't destroy one of those things even if you life depended on it. Now Li-ion batteries, more specifically the more fragile Li-po counterparts, those I can see if you treated them like bombs, and personally I do too.

Unless you took your nice soapy and and out it across the two terminals, 12V can't harm anything.

A cordless skillsaw is 18V. 18V is totally different from 12V .
