could i get help putting a price on this go kart, im having problems finding info

Just buy a 6.5hp. Seriously, that kit is $129. You could buy a HF engine for less and if you have some cash to spare, buy some upgrades. Then you have a genuine Honda engine that you can pull parts from and install into your own engine. That would be the economical way to go but if you want to fix the gx, thats fine. My HF engine is mounted on my race kart and it goes about 45-50mph with absolutely no mods. Its amazing.

dang, im having a hell of a time finding a shaft to fix that guys f up. big head is there anychance you could possibly help me in finding that and a clutch that fit, all in a small budget

I am not an engine guy so I cannot help. Sorry friend I would be as lost as you are for sure. I say Get a HF engine. Save the original engine though.

Does the harbor freight motors come with everything on them or do they just sell the block that i would take my parts and install them onto that? also does harbor freight sell the upgrades to the motor?

HF engine are complete running engines out of the box. Just add oil and gas. HF does not sell parts for the engine.

oh dang! i just finally took a minute to check out the harbor freight motors qtband mentioned and i want one now, what i do need to know is how interchangable is the motor with honda gx parts, or is it at all? does anybody have one or have lots of knowledge of one that i could ask a few questions to?
