Way too lean on both low and high side of rpm range.
Not enough ignition timing.
over heating the combustion chamber and upper end of the cylinder sleeve.
Keep rpm under 4800 rpm. it's not gonna fix your problems, but it'll let your piston and rings live a lil longer, till you get the carb and timing tuned in.
You will have a different plug reading with the colder ngk bp9es plug.
Your air box is good. You should have plenty of air moving thur that filter at 4800 rpm.

That's years and years of playing with that ol junky sbc., hei distributors, and holley carbs
I find with a colder plug, I can dial in on the tune faster. A couple jet changes, timing changes, test passes and it's there. Again, that years of reading plugs
I like that plug for testing then I switch to the autolite 3910x. It's also a cold plug, jus really hard to read.

Keep your eyes and ears out for a "mini bike engine swap" in your area. those guys will practically give away the small 163cc-196cc engines.
Those are excellent platforms to learn how to build, check specs, set clearances on.
A properly set up, speced 196 will embarrass a you-tube built stage this, stage that crap, 212. They'll be loading that junk back on the trailer,
I wouldn't be picking on the 223,224, 225 guys. Or you'll be the one loading back on the trailer,

You learn tuning and wrenching by doing it. Get some good books and read them! Get good in math, geometry, and chemistry! Save your money on fancy plugs, they don’t work! Just a regular old NGK or Autolite work great!
