All this website does is display searches, like ask.com. The plans that you are seeing are just links to other websites totally unrelated to the one you have posted.

Yeah, it works but, watching the vids, I found a lot of weak points; for instance, using the material he used, there's no strength in the rear axle mounts, nothing to prevent the tube from collapsing or even breaking...

Ya, he defiantly needed some backing plates atleast for those pillow blocks. Strength does look a little weak in a few places but I would say considering its just a project for a kid who isnt necessary going to beat the living crap out of it. Id say its allright.
With a few mods, it could work decently and the plans are cheap.

Okay, any ideas to make that a little better?

Ya backing plates. A strip of metal with matching bolt holes on both sides of the tube. When the bolts are tightened, they may dimple or pull through the tube, or at least a more likely chance they will pull through when the kart is in use.

If the holes are drilled on the seam it will split easily, and even if not still the same thing will happen.

...Or you could weld on a flat plate & use flange bearings

You can get free plans that are better...

Thanks, any links? I know I can get better quality go kart plans but what I'm really looking for is a super easy and detailed, maybe even dumbed down version because it's my first one and a lot of the stuff I have no idea what it means haha
