I got fed up with windows xp and downloaded Ubuntu 12.04 (Linux setup). I can still boot XP and I was wondering if there was any way to delete XP all together? Thanks.
you went of cd? i usually use a flash drive, its alot easier for it to read, and it usually deletes windows automatically
lol if i knew where to get one of those lol, my dell came with xp, and by the end of the day it was on windows 7 premium, i feel windows 7 is vista, but fixed
Its a peice tho, 40 gb harddrive, .5 gb ram, pentium 4 prosessor. It probally wouldent even run 7. I upgraded to 1.5gb ram, 2 40gb harddrives, and a DVD burner drive (All used computer parts I scrounged up). Its still slow, I can get a copy of windows 7, did it slow yours down?
Don't run Ubuntu on it then. At least not a newer version. I put it on a computer that we got about 8 years ago and the thing is slow as all get out.
Wipe the XP partition, partitionmagic it back together.
