i can forsee a problem. the t/c is made for a 4 stroke engine idling around 1k dont most 2 strokes idle around 1500 to 2000, my 3 cylinder jet ski is around 2k to 1800

Not really, I have adjusted plenty really low for the hell of it.

Yeah I have seen them for that price to. But realy once its shipped to you your looking at $200 probably. We paid $316 dollars for ours at princes auto. it was $270 or so without tax. I dont know why there so expensive at princes auto. And when I forgot to put anti seize on the shaft and I tried to remove the back sheive a couple weeks ago and ended up having tp cut it off I was forced to buy a ENTIRE new converter JUST for that pulley. So now we have over $600 in torque converters. I have a brand new in the box torque converter just missing the bolt and that back sheive. PS I couldnt find just the replacement back sheive on the parts list online.

I dont get it? Why saw off the crank? Im returning the torque converter once I buy that sheive. We only bought a entire TC because we where in a emergency where we needed the go kart and they had them in stock at the store near us.

USA to Canada shipping is considerably higher than keeping iti n the country. But I dont think there are many online kart supply stores in Canada.

Comet TAV 30 #218354A is now in hand

Yup, received it this am.
It's a little bulkier than I expected. Never saw one close up until now. Appears to be made in USA.
I cannot test fit as all my kart/mini bike stuff is at work.
Can this unit be mounted in any position?
More questions will most assuredly follow.

Yes Russ it can be mounted in ANY position just like it clearly states on the box.
