For starters, the OC measurements have to be pretty bang on. It seems you're 1/4" out- making the belt too loose. See what you can do to move the centers further apart, like by slottong the motor mount holes.
EDIT- I just re-read that. You've obviously got bigger problems, as the entire driven unit should spin as one. Take it off and find out why they are not locked together. THEN alter the spacing.

Now THAT is COOL! Did you scratchbuild the whole thing?

Okay- we need build data! Pics, specs, parts used- the whole shebang! How very unique!

I agree, that is one cool project. More pics!
I think the plastic buttons can break on these, but dont know if that would causeyour problem. Do you think you can post more close up pics of the tc?
Rob
Edit: im guessing thats a mower engine?

thanks chez, i found my problem. i was reluctant to take the pulley apart because i read where some one had problems after doing so, so i threw caution to the wind and pulled it apart only to find out the little key was missing. have no idea how it came ouff the shaft, so im back running again. want to thank all who responded to my problem. if i can be off any further help as to some one wanting to make a build, please dont hesitate to write. gepp
