I just purchased a used Yerfdog kart, it has a fairly new Predator 212 engine and a comet 20 torque converter. When I first got it someone had replaced the belt with a regular v-belt and would not barely drive kart. After a little research I found the correct belt, ordered parts, and replaced the belt and the Green spring in the 7" driven unit which was quite distorted. It then ran great for a few days. But now it keeps sounding like it is slipping when first starting from standing start and then keeps spitting out the green spring on the driven unit. I though that I might not have had the correct preload on the driven unit when I replaced the spring so disassembled again and followed a youtube video I found showing how to preload spring. Then found it doing the same thing again after first couple starts from standing start It once again spit out and twisted up spring on the driven unit. Anyone know what could be causing this. When it is running it pulls hard and has good speed but keeps twisting the spring after a few startups
