Hey Robert.. those videos are set to "private" so we cannot watch them at all :(

would you mind hitting the "publish" button, so that we can see?

One thing: do not limit your throttle!
(adjusting it doen)
frankly.. just don't pull it all the way open if you feel like going too fast.
In the end, if you do not fully lock the clutch (which is rather late @ around 2800rpm for some clutches and about'ish 2400 for the TC you have)
it'll burn the belt (or the clutch; resulting in a squealing behaviour as soon as it's burned out)
and well, that you had already, right ;)

If you want to limit the speed (say for your kid to ride as well..) get some speed limiting weights for your TC (drop in replacement with nuts to stop the weights from shifting up any further than predetermined by your choice)

Poboy-worth it for sure, especially if you don't have to pay shipping. Spoiler alert-you're going to have to install a TAV2!

Sid-sorry about that, changed the videos to public. Shipped from the factory, the throttle is not set to max. I opened it up (turned adjustment screw to the left) and found the front wheel in the air very quickly. You suggest it should be opened all the way?

Thank you.

Well first.. thanks..
but you need to reupload the videos, this time make sure to UNCHECK the "youtube image stabilisation" it distorts the video and the handle is in fact bending (which.. well... uhhhm can be your camera hand shaking as much as the handlebar itself vibrating *shrugs*)

Well let's make that short..
it should do for now.. next time though:
closeups are okay most of the time, but keep the camera steady (best use a tripod)
or rest your hand on a big enough box, and shoot videos in landscape rather than portrait;
Also in this case (handlebar.. a bit zoomed out would've been much easier to tell if we'd have one fixed point of reference somewhere)
And while you certainly know the issue and so 3seconds seem to be good... it's basically a photo for first time viewers (perception wise)

NOW... after reviewing the videos over and over..
as far as I can tell thanks to yt-image stabilizer I see nothing out of the ordinary..
I could be wrong though.. but I simply can't tell from those videos thanks to that nasty checkbox.
So please reup them and uncheck that crap (I hope it's not taken that way.. in which case reshoot with that option turned off is the only choice)

And yes, in the end... yes, I'd NOT limit the throttle..
yes it has enough torque to lift (especially if you lean back) but that throttle is a "regulator" not a "switch" and used accordingly it'll be less aggressive ;)

but if you feel more comfortable with it being limited.. make sure that you at least hit 3000 rpm when fully opened, below that and a clogged air filter or foul plug might ruin the belt
(reducing the rpm further.. possibly unable to rev to full locking speeds) before you even notice the engine needs maintenance ;)
Keep in mind that a belt is about 25 bucks each... so you don't want to wear it down prematurely.

Hey guy new Ct200u mini bike owner hear and new to the forums as well, just had a few questions in regarding adding a tav 2 on ,, can this be done with out making any changes to the bike itself? Has anyone else done this besides floert? And floert can you post a pic of your final work on adding the tav 2 ?

video of the handlebar vibrating at idle:
https://youtu.be/tPVwfnVtkc0
normal? Seems excessive to me. Is there a way to adjust the idle revs?

Fixed sheave of the TAV2 wobble: https://youtu.be/iQSku-o9M_Q

Belt came with it.

Regarding the performance issues, I adjusted the throttle cable and that was it. It is a completely different bike now. I actually had to adjust it down after my initial adjustment proved to be too much.

Turn the idle screw up some and it goes away. My ct200u came with a low idle speed. Using a tach and raised to specs in manual stopped that annoying crazy idle vibration.

And unless you removed the governor you can't increase rpm so you won't increase speed.
I'm cruising at 45mph with gearing and governer removed.

Vibrations? Put some rubber washers on the engine's bolts!
No one should ever do this.
The rubber does not allow the engine Bolts to get tight.
The engine Vibrations will loosen up the Bolts and the engine will come loose.
Do not do this.

Well said.......I have seen a commercial power washer that had a gx390 I believe. It was cool how they mounted it....the engine was bolted to a plate , the plate had rubber/metal isolation dampers which was bolted to the frame. So when I started the motor, the starter rocked it back and forth but the engine and plate moved on the rubbber and the frame had zero vibration. Almost looked like a floating engine because there was a dead space between engine and frame. I might use this on a mini bike and see how it does.
