Time to upgrade drive train on go kart. Was running 12 tooth clutch to 60 tooth sprocket. Will be upgrading to torque converter with 12 tooth drive and 48 tooth sprocket.

1 inch from ground. Actually it is resting on ground with low tire.What size tires and sprocket in the pic? Guessing it's the 60T with 10 inch tires? Looks like the sprocket is resting on the ground.
Looks awesome!![]()
I'm thinking I have 18lbs valve springs right now. Might need 20, or 22. Like the can, can't remember which, but I have monstrous compression as it is now. Gets tiring replacing starter cords and a broken hand from recoil. I am thinking I have valve float at about 7800 rmp well I know I do. That my idea for over drive! Nice to meet you. I'll had to snoop your post soon.WORKED FOR ME! Go for it. You will go pretty quick just won't go very fast until you find the right camshaft suitable for your desires.
despite what they say it Takes more than just valve springs for a fine tune.
COOL! Twin engines! street-run video?
No, I got a karting problem and admitting it is the first step. Ha, need for speed or maybe just a little dumb.So your go kart didn't have enough power and acceleration to begin with? XD
Going to find out, I may just be shreading belts!Do you think that gear ratio will work. I know you have duel engines and small tyres, but that ratio is really high

Uhoh freerunner...
please don't put yourself on the same level as Tihm;
And just because he made his engine provide enough oomph doesn't mean that you're capable of doing the same!
And no, if I had to make a guess.. YOUR KART will never see the road speeding below;
Relativity's kart has a good chance though.
Mostly because, he's willing to try, and if it fails because of a too optimistic ratio setting, adjust that and be speeding along..
You however instead of correcting your mistakes
rather think about installing a flux compensator just to stick with your stupid ideas!
And that's what makes the biggest difference!
So do us all a favour and keep your terrible advice for yourself;
one day a kid strolls by and believes the BS you're posting and will be bitterly disappointed by the result you "promised"!

i was telling you guys that gear ratio really did work even with a clutch. Now you should believe me and not someone else whos name i wont mention.
