clutch stuck?

after i ride my mini bike and turn off the motor and roll it into the garage my centrifigul clutch makes a sound like it is still engaged. the sound stops when i kick the clutch a little bit. when the engine is on and idling the clutch is not spinning. and when i pull throttle it works great. is this sound normal?

No, shouldn't be engaged or making, "engaged" sounds when nothing is happening. Something might be loose in there. Kicking it is not normal either.

Sounds like springs may have lost their temper (strength). This can happen through normal long time usage or short time overheating. Springs snap back into their home position when kicked or otherwise jostled.

thanks guys and it is only about a month or two old so i guess it has been overheated. is there any problems with driving with this one?

No theres not realy any probelems other than safety issues.

Just remember next time to oil it before you run it.

its not like i have replace it now right? and how often are u supposed to oil it?

not every run just every so often. Dont get any oil on the clutch shoes just oil that little brass bushing.

is that wat that little hole is for on the flat side of it?
