Clutch not engaging on torque converter

Good News!

After a few days of delaying the inevitable, I went in to clean out the carb. The carb itself was actually pretty spotless, but I gave it a good clean anyways.

The problem, however, was in the air filter. Interestingly enough, it had been sucked down the airbox and into the carb. You can see it in the picture, the blue-green thing.

After removing that and re-installing the carb, the engine was running much smoother and got up to the revs it should, properly engaging the converter. The engine does idle a bit too high though, any tips on how to fix that?

Turn the screw on top of the carb out. In means higher idle out is lower.
