Clutch help

Hi all!! I just picked up a cart, I'm told it's a yerf dog. Engine is of it. It's a chain drive set up ( no belt). It has a Hillard clutch. My issue is there was some sort of sleeve that went on it that's not there. So I was looking at the clutches and I found Hillard. My question is must I use Hillard? It's a 6.5 predator engine, cart is a 1 seater. I'll attach pictures of old clutch and what I'd like to use.

You can go for any brand you like, as long as you make sure that the tooth count and sprocket pitch are the same as what you have at the moment

Also how do I know what chain (pitch ) I have?

Off hand... That's a #41 chain clutch... Like the ad says...
Had it have 12...it'll be a #35 chain, as those are the most common...

Alot like the Hilliard clutches as they have C-shaped springs,
, and with the verity out there one can easily customize the engagement point, whereas the other type typically out there has one long garter spring with fixed engagement point.

Hillard and max-torque are good brands.

I prefer max-torque.

No-brand Chinese ones... I really can't speak for.

Here is talks about the distance between chain rollers, but you can also measure the distance between the tips of the sprocket teeth
