Once the sprockets arrive I can hang the axle in to align the clutch to the axle sprocket. Once everything is aligned with a chain on I’ll weld the engine mount down.

Then I can clean up and paint the frame. I’ll work on getting the engines together later today.

I skipped building another engine entirely and went the lazy route. I have absolutely nothing to do until a sprocket shows up at my door and I can align the clutch and chain. Once the engine plate is welded on I have a lot of work to do cleaning that frame.IMG_1191.jpeg

I made the mistake of typing Manco rims into ebay.. Why are these so expensive?

I ran this engine without oil today. It locked up.

I poured oil in it let it cool down and it fired right up.. Seems to run fine? Time will tell.. Both sprockets will be here Monday. I can get the other engine mount placed correctly then start cleaning/painting the frame. IMG_1214.jpeg

Can you please tell me in a little more detail about the......... torches on the rims and candle wax...... I'd love to know how that works,...thanks.
Good work the finished kart looks ........great.
Two propane torches heating up the rim (Don’t smelt it) and then take a candle or crayons also work and melt it to use as like an upgraded PB blaster.. The rims that were seized to the axle slid right off after using candle wax..
