That's just SICK!

I lusted after a Sears Orange Krate back in the early 70's & never got one. Think I might like that even better.

Nice Job!

Since you went with a "Restomod" instead of a purist restoration (and I applaud you for that), ditch the stock muffler & airbox & let that thing BREATHE! :lolgoku: You won't regret it!

I'm guessing the "Hemi" is in homage to the "Dukes of Hazzard" but that Pred you are running is the original "Black" version and not the "Hemi" in case you were looking for aftermarket parts.

Again, awesome job!

PS: Just noticed, a chain guard might be a good idea. Got the one's I'm running on my kid's karts @ BMI for about $5.00.

You guys all have some very good ideas. I appreciate any and all advice. I plan on doing several things to it once my son gets the hang of everything first. I figured a stock and governed engine would be the best plan early on.

The seat cover was a custom job a friend of mine did locally here. It looks and feels real nice. He was able to do a little custom embroidery too! It has been a blast bring her back from the dead. My son is going to flip out Christmas morning!

Thanks again for all the complements!

Yes it was! He won't forget this one! It fired up on the first pull! I was shocked that I had everything right on it. I did notice after about 20 min. of riding that the sprocket hub was loose on the axle. I took off the rear wheel and put a good crank on the set screws. That seemed to do the trick! I was also amazed by the Harbor freight engine! That engine is solid and has plenty of power even with the governor on!
