i must say i am quite please with the way it turned out the welding nere the manafold was made with 6014 rods so i think it might rust i will just keep an eye on it if it dose i will have to paint it

its still loud but its a nice sound instead of an ear spiting headache

i also spent manny hours polishing it the end can it the standard exhaust of a tzr 125 and i sliped a chrome pipe on the end for the bling factor

So did you arc weld the stainless? I've got all the parts, bar the 2-1 collector, to make my buggy exhaust out of stainless and I'm wondering if I should save some money and weld it myself. I probably wont, because if I expect to be able to sell the buggy (eventually) I want it to look awesome, and my welding isn't that great.

The exhaust looks really good! I think you should polish it all up, then run it heaps so that you get that gradual colour change at the port along the exhaust. That always looks awesome.

yeah it welded it fine i think you can get stainless steel welding electrodes but i think thay are expsensive

no matter how bad the weld is you can usaly fix it with a grinder

i ground down the weld i did to it looked better then gave it a quick polish i have tried runing it to make it blue more but i got a problem with my chain it came of and stated taking lumps out of my engine caseing

Not too sure that exhaust will work very well on your kart, maybe you should box it up and send it to me for further testing.

Yeah me too! Especially when the engine gets really hot and at night you can see the pipe glowing red with the afterburn

very nice. a bit too long IMO. i wouldnt have done the gradual 90degree bend at the end.

If you run it without the air cleaner, the exhaust had better fit the next engine you buy.

not posted in a while i usaly run with the air filter on a removed it to take pics i cant poste very often at the moment as im not living at home and dont have internet access the exhaust at nice it a dull red when crusing the it i get all mad and did 3 minit donught it went a nice orange the welds have got a bit rusty but the rest of it is still looking good it cools down realy fast aswell

Looks the same as any other dirtbike engine.

yeah some small holes turned up as the slag droped out its nice becuse you get like a afterburn flame at night and it downs the biz i think its time for a polish tho might tack em holes up
