Car audio Help...

Ya, its called the kick panel( I guess that was easy on.. kinda blew me away, I had no clue????)... And those Q-logic ones are really expensive...Cool, but I cant seem to find any cheaper out there.. Even if I were to do a DIY method...Im sure I could... but thats alot of effort.

Also, really there's not all that much room there for those things... Id end up or my passenger, kicking the crap out of it and it not working anyways... So im thinking about just biting the bullet and Id be better off digging in the door and replace the OEM's...
I dont want too.. I hate car doors... some really bad experiences with my old Accord and the **** window glass.

I always break the plastic body panel clips, even when using one of these...

I have a few bags of extra clips from the last time I had to take my door panel off.

Exactly how much room is there behind the seats?

You can build behind the seat enclosures like these.
They are designed for single cab trucks...
Probably best for subs. The highs and mids might get muffled.

Good idea...I thought of that too... It's hard to explain... But really there's not much space, once I have all my emergency recover tools in place... Jack/tire wrench/jack stands (I'm getting a new farm jack soon, but obviously mounted outside) ect...

I could make them to fit and armour them up so tools don't beat them to crap...
I can get some aluminum plate and such...

Another thought was maybe put them up higher close to the roof headliner, but louder sound near ones ears trying to talk to each other and general hearing the world when driving, seemed a bit unsafe...
I'll do some more thinking on my search for speakers...

Pro tip for checking if a speaker works is to use a 1.5v battery across the two wires. AA, or D size, does not matter. Hold one wire against one side of the battery and then tap or swipe the other wire against the other battery side. The speaker will make a popping sound.
This is also a good way to find what speaker is where on a factory wire harness.

Rockford is a really good brand. The prime is the starter line for them but still really good quality. I worked in car audio when it was in its prime. And nobody was buying online. Lol

I have a Rockford amp brand new... but theres no space for it... and its not all that my thing to have a super sound system... when actually hearing any sound is good enough...

... Of course... why would it be easy...
I get a bit of my mistake, bought bigger speakers... OK... I Thought there was going to be a bit more space to work with.....NO that would be too easy....

So.. I need adapter rings.... to space it off the door panel.... I managed to find some that will come in tomorrow....
Mean time Ill check out how it sounds........
Now the easy part... make jumpers to the speaker from the factor plug.....
Plug in and play.......NO that would be too easy......
Check the connections again... check the continuity to see if it is in fact the wires going to the doors are correct.... yes they are...

No power out to speakers from deck.......WFT.....

I faintly recollect someone saying this might happen sometimes.....
