Can you ID this frame?

I purchased this go kart from last year, to start as a project. I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of frame it is. It appears that the roll cage, and side bars were added to the original red part of the frame.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

That is one well made roll cage/brush guard!
Well, at least, it looks halfway decent.
I wanna say it's a heavily modified Manco 225 American Express.
But man that has been butchered.

Not a 225. Idk what it is. Maybe we'll see sid in a bit and he'll know.

What used to be a Manco 400 is my guess. Steering shaft hoop looks slightly altered (more narrow?) but it has the scrub brakes (also looks modified to be larger)...

Took advantage of the warm dry weather today, and put a couple coats of spray paint on the frame. I am not finished. The frame still needs a couple more coats.

I think that you guys are right, and it is some type of MANCO frame. From the information you guys put up, I am still not sure which model. The engine mounting plate is a lot bigger then the MANCO 400.
