Can anyone tell me the make and mode please?

Hello, trying to figure out the make and model of this go kart. Is there a way to determine it by the VIN? Thanks for the help. Pictures attached.

This site deals primarily with genuine go karts; you know yard karts, fun karts, racing karts. Mainly domestic manufacture (some imported) and/or basically the things you can find for cheap on Craigslist.

That thing is an ATV/buggy and the basic criteria for that is full suspension, seat belts, roll cage, lights (turn signals, really?), car seats, a F-N-R gearbox and my personal favorite: the grocery rack. It’s probably, most definitely Chinese.


No one here is gonna know what that is and if they do find out, it’ll be because they’re more skilled with a Gewgle search than you were.

I’d definitely post your VIN, that would be something to go off of, plus any labels, decals or logos you may find; maybe a manufacturer name is written right on it somewhere. Type all those into that famous search engine and go at it.

Chinese make has a gy6 and yerfdog is the performance parts company for that type of motor warning they are hard on upkeep. There are about a thousand different versions of this same buggy and the company that produced this frame doesn't make this model anymore and unfortunately there is a possibility that the company that produced this frame got bought out by one of the others making frames similar to this one. I had the same problem with my timberline crossfire.

none of the above post actually is close apart from very little chance that the chassis itself is still in production
yerfdog never made ANY performance part for ANY motor..
they simply used stock engines (industrial or chinese gy6)
That chassis I've seen not too long ago floating around (with the same question being asked)
I can't remember the outcome though.

it's a chinese kart ( well... buggy! )..

And if it is.. the company surely NOT got bought out.. that simply doesn't happen with companies like that at all.
they close and sell the tools and done.
(since there is zero intellectual property to be sold)

tomberlin never made any buggies afaik.. all generic chinese with a new stickers..

ps post the vin and we can find out the mfg (first three to four characters should do to find the mfg)

Post a close-up shot of that 50cc decal on the side of the machine, that could provide some answers. Check for a serial number between the seat backs, that's where American Sportworks riveted the VIN plate on their Carbide model. Not saying that's where it is, just another place to check.

My 2007 Tomberline crossfire 150cc and proof that timberline at on point made karts. Did I say timberline sorry common mistake
But you're right in the fact that chinese karts are hard to ID and tomberland has not made a gas powered anything sense 2009 that I know. But the kart above looks very similar to a current model made by madmoto but I have checked a lot of sources and can not find that frame.

Need more pics of the cart engine, labels ect.

Let's not get into an argument in the OP's thread, man.
It actually doesn't prove anything, since it's not too hard to have some logo pads and printed headrests. It could be a rebranded generic Chinese buggy, or it might have been actually made by Tomberlin.
Either way, it doesn't really matter!
And trust me, 'sid of all people would know what he's talking about.

Tomberlin relabelled buggies (that's still not a go kart.. it's a mini buggy!!)
they bought in china..

they didn't make much if anything (again... AFAIK)

Look at the post kartekk made above for example

L6K means the manufacturer is
Shanghai Howhit Machinery Manufacture Co.
(guess where )
And that's an American Landmaster (formerly known as Manco)
product... (*cough* by the label at least)
