Many years ago, I could not figure out why they would put the bleeders on the bottom of the two rear calipers but not the front on my 99 Contour SVT (gotta add that it was an SVT lol). This was after a full brake job. You know where Im going... One of the very first times ever working on a car. I also learned how easily a 12 point wrench can round off a bolt head. That's why ya want the bleeder there. I think everyone makes that mistake once.
Well my solution was was to put vacuum on the reservoir, hoses on the bleeders, and suck brake fluid UP through the system. Worked so well that I never swapped the calipers. Even moreso, ive done this a bunch of times since. Some cars it doesnt work with. Not sure why. For that scenario I just put vacuum on all the nipples. Then I get to work on the car.
