ill post a better pic of the mounted exhaust, its a apexi N1 racing exhaust, back when i was younger i modified and tuned import cars so this is one of few parts i still have around,so yeah its made for a car but i thought why not bring back some memories an install it to this project haha, this exhaust isnt to heavy but i just made my own flange and welded a 1 1/4in elbow shaped exhaust pipe to a short 2in piece to another 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 and from there on to the muffler which is a 3 inch ..sounds good though i like it.

Your kart is looking good. It is going to look sweet when finished. What clutch are you going to be using. For an engine that large, and sand riding, I would suggest a Comet 40 series TC

thanks landuse and yes i will be using a 40 series TC although it seems ill have to buy all the parts separately cause i cant seem to find any kit looks like they dont have one wonder why, probably seeing $400 tag wouldnt make it look good lol,i was wondering if anybody knew if just any jackshaft would work with the driven so as long as their aligned, or does it have to be the ones they have made for it,any info will greatly be appreciated.

Mad Max or Road Warrior kart for sure.

Keep the pics coming.

sorry for being such a newbie, wasnt sure what a mad max or road warrior was lol so had to google it and now i see what you mean, funny thing is when i began this all i knew was i was gonna build a simple kart that could take me from A to B without having to walk all the time to the water pumps for irrigation in this scorching heat, someone saw an came to ask what i was doing,i told'em building a go kart as the guy looked he was like that aint no go kart look at the size of this thing he pulls out a picture from his wallet with his son sitting on a go kart,i laughed an told him well if its not a go kart then at the moment its a space pod but in search after that lead me here so thank you all for being open enough to share your thoughts, and give technical advice and support which cant be found on store shelves  will post more pics soon.

I agree! Looks awesome- Kind of a more modern Road Warrior thing (considering the movie is 31 years old)! Big cool points!

EDIT- Crap, that just made me feel old!

Cool, is that an aftermarket carburetor? Or just an aftermarket air-filter?

i wish it was but no its just a big aftermarket intake, but does anybody know what difference it would make to have an aftermarket throttle body on these type of engines,i know on car engines dyno test show a few ponies towards top end and lots of gain on high rev engines, just wonder if it works the same.
