A blower might be more in keeping with the end goal, which would then change the end goal to keeping the engine from folding the rod. 
I'll try to. There's a lot of interrelated stuff to do all at the same time....port the head, port the intake, upgrade fuel lines, flow the injectors, upgrade the turbo, adapt the exhaust, plumb an intercooler...that's just what I can think of now. Also on the menu is building a CAN-based gauge display because there's so little room in the car for anything but a combination gauge.
