I say go with preservation, not restoration.
That kart just has history.
And if you paint it, please mask over the decals, they're probably original.
And MAN! That sprocket hub is JANKY! Evidently someone didn't know about locking collars. :ack2:

Atleast they could weld LOL unlike on the yerf doge however and if i do repaint it i will mask the decals cuz i like them.

Need to repaint mine, my decals on the floorpan aren't in the best shape sadly. They look empty without something on it.

With mine, I had to get a new hub because the one on it could move back anf forword like half and inch. Keyway on the hub and axle were trash. Had to spin the axle around to be able to save it.

I gotta say, the 445 (live axle model) is about second on my list of models to look for after the 225 American Express/285 Dingo models.

Basically minimalist karts before Manco started churning out 'buggies' with tons more tubing, roll cages and extra unneeded weight added. :ack2:

We both said manco 445, and the tag would have been at the backof the floorpan by where the seat is.

Just broke mine pretty good, needs welded in atleast two places and possibly some more tube. We'll see. And it's ironic, your front end looks like the bumper bit is stretched out a bit(bent out) no problem. But mine was smashed, bent a tie rod and snapped one side and cracked the other. Bent it back with my foot so I didn't have to push it across the whole yard. No brakes.

So yeah, what happens when a 485 slams into the front of a 445. Exhaust was after, my friend was drifting and pulled up next to me and it was dangling off.
