Hey all. Sort of new to this forum AND the briggs motors but here goes...
I have a briggs intek i/c 206 engine with electric start that was given to me. I think the guy monkeyed with it a bit but I don't think it has ever been run.
My question is on the wiring of this motor. It has a single red wire coming out of the motor and I am not sure what it is for?
Also the starter looks like it only has a single post but I'm not sure if this is the positive lead or what. I checked continuity from the post to the block and it is conducting.
I assume the post on the electric start motor is the positive lead that needs to be hooked up via a relay or switch?
Any info would be rad.
