Thanks. Yeah, it seems like you're never close to finishing. I started the seat mounts yesterday, and ran out of welding wire. I think I just need to suck it up and shell out the cash for some parts.

Got the rest of my engine parts. All thats left now is machining and assembly.

And yes, there is more billet there. :sifone:

K&N Clone air filter with outerwear, valve spring compressor, indexing copper washers, 4x Autolite spark plugs, coil adaptor for the 3/3.5HP flywheel, billet black head brace, n' the rest I can't tell...

Nice. The rest is head bolts, allen headed carb bolts, filter spray, cut down allen wrench, billet tank support, and a kick *** sticker.:bannana:

Ain't that the truth!

I just want to see how much power the sticker gives you! :arf:

Not as much power as the Dyno sticker on the side of the blower housing.:arf:
Polished the head, and lapped the gasket surface. 40 year old carbon being sanded smells like *** fyi. Do you think it would be alright to use sealant instead of a gasket as long as the valves don't touch?

Made the header brace today too.

Looks like it's coming together very nice!

Sealant is fine. Valves shouldn't touch as long as you're not using a huge lift cam of some sort.

That's a hecka nice looking block too! ;)

That kart's coming along great, good job! I recently replaced the gasket on my Tecumseh with some gasket maker, and the engine has much more power than it ever did before. I think you should definitely go with the sealant. Keep us updated just like you have been!

Here it is. YZ250 with a bad top end, and there is rust making the crank seize. Should just be a matter of splitting the cases, cleaning the crap out of it, then figuring out how to mount it. This gives me a 5 speed and hopefully a charging system.
