Master cylinder is off a Ninja, Shock is ATC250r. No idea on the caliper. All of them used off junked machines on Ebay.

lol i was reading and im going "uhm honda ninja? he should google it up before posting online" then i realized u just wrote the wrong word

the caliper looks like the pair i have, dual front off of a 1100cc honda shadow.

The kart was originally a Manco White Fox II. Here's an old quick sketch. Also I got all four hubs, as well as the axle and brake disc.

HAHA no sled engine. Modded Briggs, and super secret overly complicated drive train. I've gotten the rear end finished up, just need to connect it to the frame. Also finished the a arms, but I ****ed up somewhere and the whole system isn't working how I thought. Also mounted the pedals and master cylinder.

Looks awesome, those brakes will pull you up really quickly! Since you're adding awesome suspension and great disc brakes to the kart, why not go all out and add a powerful motor from a bike? A 250 4 cylinder would go really well on that

Looks like it's coming along nicely. If i may make a suggestion? That rear swingarm looks alot like the one I'm about to build:

I think you should add some bracing to yours to make it a bit stronger. The twisting forces on the swingarm are immense. Even with all the bracing in the design I've shown the swingarm can crack if you thrash it too hard. I'm making all the bracing out of 30mm x 30mm x 2.5mm square tube, whereas the plans call for 20mm x 20mm x 1.6mm

Well my grand plans for the overly complicated secret awesome transmission fell through. The dumbass I was working on it with says there is a crack in the crankshaft, and there's no way I'm following his advice and JB Welding it. Bought a Comet 40 series set up off another forum for $120 shipped.

If you were just gunna strap a 5 hp briggs to the crankshaft it would be fine, i thought you were actually going to run it. Welding would hold.

The top mount for the top shock at the front needs some bracing on it, there is a lot of stress on shock mounts. I would run a bar from the top of that mount to somewhere in the centre of the kart, or join the tops of those two shock mounts.

Also, are the shock mounts in double or single shear?
