If this brake dosen't work, I'll probably take it off. Where some old minibikes sold with no brakes and a clutch, and also, do front brakes (only) work?

If you set it up right with a foot pedal it will work fine. Nothing is sold without brakes. Front only works great if you like eating dirt/picking gravel out of your skin.

Here's some pics of a scrub brake on an old bird frame. Maybe they will help you.

This is the brake I am using now, and yes, it is a foot operated scrub brake which I made yesterday. It seems OK, but exactly how fast will it wear the tire?

Depends on riding conditions, and how hard you apply the brakes......... You WILL need a new tire a lot sooner than if you had a different brake setup, though, like a disc or drum.
