Big Issue With Clutch

MY CLUTCH THAT I ORDERED ONLINE IS 5/8. MY CRANKSHAFT IS 5/8. IT WON'T FIT ON IT. ALSO THE SET SCREWS WON'T FIT IN. IS THERE A SPECIAL WAY TO INSTALL THIS? AM I MISSING SOMETHING?

Try polishing and greasing your shaft. Maybe rust or something on it isn't letting it go on?

it's a 3/4 crankshaft! the set screws fit now for some reason...the person on ebay that i bought the engine from said it was a 5/8 crankshaft! can anybody recommend me on how to get my money back? or what to do? i'll sell it for $36.00 including shipping!!!!!!!!right now!

Guy you bought it from is responsible for his misrepresentation. You should have no problem getting your money back on engine.

i don't want to send engine back though i did so much work on it. for him (the seller) it's like getting a brand new engine or a great tuneup!

But I thought you atleast used a ruler. No offence but theres a big difference between 5/8 and 3/4 on a ruler.
