So whats stopping you from jumping on a running ody for less than the kart you posted? This ody will go anywhere for the most part. That other kart you would be dead stopped at the first 5" log/branch that was laying on the trail.

I do not like the fenders though. But this would be a simple kart for you to keep running.

AS LONG AS IT IS NOT A HACK JOB. AND BY THE LOOKS IT COULD BE. But I cannot tell for sure. The way the fenders are done is iffy to me. But still $600??? J-arms look rattle canned red. Roll bar bent and a seat that sits you up to high and the engine is mounted up high as well. Offer him $450 for it is not an Ody really. But enough to have a blast on if it runs well. You can beat the suspension all day long. They are tuff units.

Eye ball the clutch set up really good. I know the ody driven is used to way more rpm that the 10hp puts out.

I dont even know where lakeport is. The problem that Syracuse CL has is people from other cities post on this one. Like Binghamton, Utica, Rochester all have their own CL, but they still post it on ours.

Well if you do not find out where this is. I am going to just slap you. Do you drive? I would drive 4 hours each way to get this for that price. Are you kidding me?

Not sure what engine mount irt originayl had. Depanding on that there may be no fabing to do? You need to find what engine it originaly had for me to tell you more.

Keep looking. Be creative in your search words. You never know what will pop up. Search the towns close to you as well.

I realized (thanks to you) they post them in barter and motorcycle/scooter sections too. Ive only been looking in RV's. No wonder why I cant find everything.

Search all. I never look in single sections. Waste of time. Unless your looking for motorcycle projects. Then I will search RV and Motorcycles just to filter out the other listing with projects.

Some seller's list stuff with no clue at all. I seen a guy list a FL250 as. Honda Gocart, Odyssee, Sand Rail, Mini Buggy, A lot of the time they do not even know it is a Odyssey.

Add dune buggy, mini rail, Off road kart sand rail, mini buggy and just buggy to your search words. This is why I say be creative in searching. You can really miss a lot if not done right.

You sir are so true. I find even more by using your suggested names. Thank you very much! I even tried searching CL in general and a TON more showed up. A lot in farm/garden, too!

I'll keep looking! Been a little busy today with my truck. Cleaned it, was gonna check air filter/air in tires, but then it started to rain. So I said to hell with it.

For $400 I would want a running kart. No problems. Or a Yerfdog kart anyway.

If your after a Yerfdog try to find one with little use and good original paint. The one you posted looks pretty moshed on. You know like the ones that still have original tires and what not.

Emailed a guy about a $400 single seat yerf dog. He sent me pictures (he didnt post them on CL). Doesnt look too bad. But, probably not for me.
