Its hard t explain but it comes in very hard. You have to keep adding gas to keep it from stalling. It will suck my engine rpm from 3500 to 1500 feathering it and adding gas as i go.
Im no stranger to clutches either.....drove manual cars and motorcycles my whole life.....this is just weird.
I think its more strange in a kart setup..... clutch on the wheel is just odd.

Do you think it needs more torque to engage completely without stalling? Sounds like a pain to me

Could be too high gears for it.

Edit: I was talking about what the clutch is missing, not drummer guy's gearing

I dont think gearing is the issue honestly.
12/60 should be fine on that light chassis turning those small tires.
My bully clutch was awesome with the same exact gearing.

Anyways im gonna put it on my drift trike or im gonna build a mini bike and use it. Im geting bored with the race kart now honestly.

Single seater suspension kart with a 420????

I have a jackshaft and a number of sprockets to select... I did however change to a 7:1 ratio, and things worked better.....
But still.. stalling was less, but an issue.... After switching to a Hillard cent clutch... much better overall... better than the comet(or knock-off?) clutch I had originally.

I think on the trike or mini bike with less weight to move it will probably be better.
For now im on the search for a single seater suspension kart frame begging for a 420 torque converter setup
