Big block or 3d motorsport clutch.

Trying to decide betwewn getting a 3d motorsport manual clutch and a 420cc predator.

I was thinking a big block kart and a manual clutch kart would be pretty cool.
What would ve your choice?

If you get the motor, the clutch won't directly mount to it(the clutch is meant for 3/4" shaft), but it can be mounted via a jackshaft... Aparently it can handle alot of HP...

They really are dragging their feet on the 1" clutch. I like the idea of a big block jumped down to a jackshaft for the clutch.

I really was meaning im gonna either get a 420 for the kart and a regular clutch or the 3d clutch for my mild build 212.

I was thinking the 3d clutch would be fun and allow me to control drifts better and well......burnouts.
Thought it would be cool to adapt it to a pedal setup as well in the kart.

Or do a big block racing kart though im not sure if a 420 is much better than a built 212.

Left that detail out? I'd go with the clutch on modded engine vs the big block at that point. Clutch will be half the cost over the 420.

Well I did just that.
I ordered the clutch a little bit ago. Just curious to see what it's all about really. I'm going to go ahead and buy a 420 predator next week and get the crank turned down to 3/4" shaft and it's probably going to go on the drift trike for some extra torque

It's gonna be cool to see how slideways you can get with this clutch!
But why waste all that 420's torque on PVC tires?!

See, kind sir, I don't use those stupid pvc sleeves. I want to gain lots of speed on the hard pack and then hit the yard sideways at 40 MPH

Yeah, don't do that, it would take weeks & the chance the shaft would be straight & centred is almost ZERO...

Yeah I wasn't considering that at all haha. I have a buddy with a hobby grade mill and lathe I'd do it in before I tried that LOL

I didn't think you would but, the last thing we need is for some noob to come along & take it as serious advice, then complain that it didn't work

This technique is awesome for cleaning a PTO shaft, not much good for anything else...

Well i finally got the clutch in.
Put it on the kart and im not really digging it......
It might be going on the drift trike.......
