20 to 1, with a 14.5 inch mini atv tyre on the back max's out at about 8 mph but will tow two big downhill mountain bikes plus rider up a fireroad easily.

Grease n/g. Lubrication doesn't get to where it's needed most. Grease also tends to pick up a lot of crap and will wear chain out faster. Use chain lube after it's thoroughly degreased and dried.
Check for alignment, wear, and slack. If everything is correct, chain will never fall off.

The lube needs to get in the pins of the chain and the side plates. I have NEVER had a chain fall off any motorized machine.

by the by hows that clutch workin out for u? I bought the same one and my six HP wont spinit until its almost maxed out for rpms

maybe your clutch? or the bell housing has to much pressure on it?? if your talking about that rigged up brake on the clutch. I would of just of took a metal bar like 6 inches made a bracket and hooked it too a foot brake to when you pushed it it pushes the bar on the tire. you see them on a lot of hillbilly made go karts on the front wheels.he was saying like going 8mph so you don't have to worry about any horrible tire wear.

(i didnt put grease on the chain i put grease on the shaft so i can get the clutch off again sometime in the near future) And yes the chain needs oil. always does. Its not garaged so things get rusty hence th name.

What he means is his crankshaft is greased and NOT his chain. I think he's just trying to backhimself up in a funny way. Lol cause by the looks of that clutch $20 say's its seized on.
