I missed a deal at a yard sale for a Baja Heat for $50!!! :mad2: :furious2:
I got there and the people were already loading it up. It ran well too! :mad2:(6.5hp)
It was in okay condition on the outside, mechanically it was purrrrfect!

Uh oh i bought bmi chain for my kart. I hope it will be ok

wouldn't worry about it too much.

Blue, looking at your latest vid, you got some pretty good amounts of mud caked on that thing, not to mention beating the crap out of it all the time. :D

sooooooooooooooooooooooo would you guess what i did today?

i dont know how.... but my friend WANTED to trade me his Yamaha YZ125 for the baja.. for one day.....

so for the past 5 or so hours, weve been back in the tobacco fields riding.

my friend took the warrior about a foot and a half deep in mud and water. once when we were on some barely-ish mud and he was right next to me, i was in 2nd gear and i gave it full throttle, and a rooster tail of dirt covered him. LOLOLOL

the powerband on this thing is insane. at the middle of 4th gear it just TAKES OFF. like a rocket.

and im too short... so i can barely put my feet down..... NOT MY PIC. but same bike.

I might have to get me one of em...
Does it fit under the fender no problem?

Ive had tires come off the rim on my kart and mower, dont know if this method will work for you though... Wrapped a ratchet strap round the tire and put air in. Both tires had leaked air, keepin them aired up never had any problems.

OH. the ratchet strap is a great idea. never thought of that.

turns out after using 1/2 the can of starter fluid that i was using too much... so i lit it, and kicked the tire and BOOM instantly inflated. this took forever.

DO NOT USE VERY MUCH! just ONE TINY SQUIRT!

then i was going full speed through the gate in my fence, got one side of the handle bars clipped on the gate and immediately pinched the handle bars to the left.......

oops.....

this is where the foot peg hit

this is the aftermath...

oh yeah and i burnt my hand doing the starting fluid tire bead setter thing ahah.

what size tire is that? looks bigger than 19...

{EDIT} So does your twist throttle pull the throttle arm as far as it can go?
The throttle arm on mine still has 1/2in or so to go.

EDIT: also must say that im really happy with it. good price, shipping took about a week thats OK, and it seems like ill have a lot of miles left before it looks like the baja tire did.

Your throttle stop back up all the way?

Thanks for the link... I just might have to get some new rubber.

my screw is completely removed.

feels like a different bike with this tire! now i can actually brake and accelerate without spinning out the tire too much.... and especially theres actually some tread on the side so now i dont loose traction and slide out on sharp turns.
