20 bucks and alot of fun until i get the stuff for my baja, and even if he dosent take care of it, i sure will, id probablly strip it, wash it down, hit it with a wire wheel, nice coat of paint, engine running, put it back together and have some fun, maybe the steering will work on this one, lol

i must have worded that really messed up, the guy said if him or his friend wanted the manco mini bike, he would trade me a genuine comet 30 for my baja, so basically its trade the manco for the torque converter

the governors acting up because the brakes are sticking on, im also getting new brake pads, so with new brake pads with no squeak and no drag, then the TC will give me some more speed and acceleration and ill never be off that thing, ill be tearing up mine and the neighbors yard and having some fun,

alright so IM BACK, ive been playing with the baja thesse lasts 2 days, and i must say im upset, my brakes stick on only so much and it produces so much drag on the tire that its alot slower than usual, the motors running well, but the bike seems shaky on take off, probablly because of the drag on the tire, still havent got my torque converter or brakes, would one of the torque converters from mfg supply need grinding? i still need brakes to, im thinking about paying 40 bucks for the new hub and all

Can you loosen up that arm? If that dosnt work, take the nut off...

If theres still drag, something else is messed up.

okay started playing with this today, pulled the brake lever off, so no brakes for me, still a loss, found out A of my problems, my chain was to tight, my clutch is still worn to hell, but freeing up the tight chain made a great difference, as of right now, i need my brakes, for sure, i need my TC, for sure, and as of right now, take off it reasonablly shaky, ive checked the motor and its bolted down tight, but take off is really shaky until the governor kicks in, is it always like that? or is somthing else wrong?

When I first gun it it make quite the vibration through the bike, then evens out once it get going. Also does that when I let up on the throttle topped out.

Go over all the bolts and everything, make sure it tight. Found out all but 1 crankcase bolts was loose. Problem is, I dont know how tight they should be, dont want to strip out the block... Later Ill take them out and locktight them.

i say get a torque wrench first and get them torqued to spec, then take a marker and mark the bolt, so when you tighten it in, youll know how tight it is and when the mark lines up. ive checked all my bolts and everythings good, but when i hit the gas from dead stop the motor seems to kick backwards till i get going, then it evens out, if i let up on the throttle and hit it again, its all smooth, its when starting from low, or no speed. i definetley didnt miss those brakes squeaking, but i miss my brakes lol, so basically i need TC brakes and brake cleaner, like when i hit the throttle it kicks back just a little and vibrates the whole thing, but as long as its normal im cool with it, i know my clutch is worn to hell tho, you can hear the clutch squeak and all, and yeah, replacement with a TC soon
