I agree.. Fairness is the main thing even for the old timers lmao... Equality is key its also the main thing that people fight over...

As you can see I'm a new guy on here so I wont get on a soapbox. I would however like to say that when I joined the other day Jim made me feel very welcome by his kind comments on a surprise project for my son, I hope to see him back soon. Just my $.02. Thanks btw for all the hard work and help all of you provide, it is greatly appreciated.

I have to agree with kalescart (maybe it's an Iowa thing). Jim replied in a positive way to my first post and several others, and made me feel welcomed. I also agree that the thread got ugly and counterproductive to what this site offers. Fortunately, I do not have to judge others here - I would not enjoy the difficult work of the administrators.

I won't attempt to "advise" others about behavior, but I will personally endeavor to take Fabroman's advice: "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything." Seems an easy thing to keep in mind.

Fairness IS the key! We can't very well punish one member & not another for the same thing just because one has been here longer, that would be unfair...

Jim is one of the nicest guys I've come across; he's usually very calm, helpful & friendly, which made the decision that much harder but, he did break the rules; whether he was provoked or not, it takes a bigger man to walk away from a fight...
