so i have a problem or at least my friends say so just about all i ever talk about is go karts mini bike or cars. do you guys do that too? im curious to see if anyone is always talking about go karts mini bike or cars at work school or anywhere tbh.
am i just weird or is it normal?

Nope, totally the norm. Basically for me anyway. Not a day goes by that I don't have this process all relating go karts:
Dream about performance mods.
Look it up on the internet.
Check DIYGK.
Talk someones ears off about my kart.
Then try to explain to them and remove their glazed over eyes look.

Also I can do a total 'geek out' when I see a classic car or really any truly cool car.

I feel like you 2 guys would be very dangerous if in the same room with tools and go cart projects
