i use a light coat of high temp wheel bearing greese. Seems to get the job done

out of curiousity what type of engine oil do u peeps use? and thanks for all the great advice guys i just bought the 12 tooth torque converter from nothern tool. i hope it works out!

The manual recommends 10w30. Just get the cheapest brand at an autoparts store, it takes a half quart.

You will enjoy that TAV, it is awesome.

hey do guys think that with the tav and 100 tooth gear on the axel i might be able to squeel the wheels on pavement? i am running 16 inch trailer tires.

I have 16" tires with a 72T sprocket..it wont squeal the tires, but it takes off quick!

Top speed seems to be about 35mph. A 100T sprocket will be HUGE.
