you can get a used tach 50-100 bux.. and use GPS as a speedometer.

I have a mychron lyte.. paid 50 bux for it and it measures CHT as well..

I use my GPS as a speedo WORKS GREAT

in my opinion buy a used mychron or digitron over the Tiny Tach

Speedometers have nothing to do with the engine. They normally hook up to one of the tires.

You can use a bicycle speedo with a little modding, or you can do some custom work an hook up a cable driven one.

Mychron 3 660 drag racing data analizer. Will record head temp, exhaust gas temperature, jackshaft rpm engine rpm mph etc all the way down track. Retails for around $500, Probably not something you want on a fun kart...

Its Josh from AIM sports. I be believe he is the one who repaired our Mychron 3 660. I think ours is 2 years old? We have been having a problem with it recording runs. Payed to send it to Mychron came back doing the same thing it was when we sent it in.

This winter we will probably be shipping our Mychron out to you guys for repair. Worst thing is it cost us like $70 shipping and like 3 weeks downtime to you guys and back for it not to work the first time it was shipped.
