I recently 'bought into' the vintage club with a Rupp Continental, the best I can tell. Pic attached.

If I ever get around to "restoring" this Fox Thunderbolt Id like to take it to Windber.
It was complete, except for the busted tail light and part of the exhaust.

Who says it has to be pristine? You could keep that one in "survivor" status with only some minor touching up to show you've done maintenance.

Too late... its already dissasembled with paint stripped off the frame...probably even lost a few parts. :roflol:

Sweet Rupp, it's a classic. Give it the restoration it deserves Hellion. I would love to see more vintage projects on this forum. What part of the country did you find it?

It does deserve some TLC, that's a fact. Somewhere along the way a previous owner added some "highway pegs" with a long crossbar bolted to the down tubes in front of the engine. It has a rear foot operated brake that pivots off said crossbar.

For a restoration it needs a Tecumseh engine of the appropriate vintage--those seem hard to come by.

Found out it's sporting a 1969 4 HP B&S, probably still retaining its points ignition.
