Hi guys, just joined yesterday. I'm an older guy (60) that's played with flatheads and 2 stroke mini bikes since childhood. I can see the desire the younger folks have with predators, they're cool. Mainly I'm glad to see the younger generation interested in small engines and building stuff, no matter what your engine choice is. I'm into restoring vintage mini bikes. Is there much interest for that on this site? Let me know, I'll be lurking around. Thanks, TX7 :cheers2:

I like the old briggs 5 hp flatheads, but just for fun, not for a ton of performance. Even though this is a go kart forum, I PREFER MINI BIKES. there I came out and said it. AHHH!!!

It is a little known, and unspoken fact.
Gokarters are gay!

I for one would love to see some of your projects and watch with interest, especially if there are pictures.

I like the vintage mini bikes for their smaller size, flathead engines (Briggs, Tecumseh, etc.) and the simplicity of their frames. I guess the collectors have largely snapped up all the good ones so for me I am keeping the idea of doing a modern build on the back burner---i.e. an Azusa or a Taco.

Show us what you got! :arf:

Are any of you mini bikers going to Windber PA for the Annual Mini Bike Reunion? It's coming up Father's Day weekend. I'll be there.

If I ever get around to "restoring" this Fox Thunderbolt Id like to take it to Windber.

It was complete, except for the busted tail light and part of the exhaust.
