Yeah you'd want a bit of pre-load on those bushing's.

model. where are you getting the sprocket from? i cant find a 520 sprocket anywhere that will work with a 1 1/4 hub

I have to buy a new rear sprocket for my dirtbike. It's 520 chain and A new Honda sprocket is $140 and a aftermarket sprocket is $40.

the sprocket i have is 5x5 1/4.
i could make is work with 6x4 3/4
but there are no hubs those sizes

how hard is it to make a hub? dont you need a mill?

thanks i just might have to do that. i called a local machine shop http://www.3d-machine.com/index.htm and it would cost $500-600.
but the guy sounded cool. he says hes building a barstool racer ATM

yeah around $70 an hour plus overhead and price of a 6" steel stock

model's way of doing it is actualy not that hard. drill 11 holes and im done. so far ive found a steel plate for $10. trying to find one free

Well kenny, It take's quite a while to make the program even just to make 11 hole's. Then you have to put the stock in the machine, Make sure it's level in all the axis's. I forget the name of the dial that goes into the chuck and a needle point touches the stock and you move the table back and forth and watch the needle. So in the end they still charge alot.

Yeah I know it's not nececary to have a CNC machine to make 11 hole's. But if you do have access to one it make's it alot easier.

its 11 holes if i do it model's way. but making a hub from a steel stock does require alot of time
