The throttle linked above is really slick...mine just came in the mail. Since I started with a racekart, it makes it easy to just adapt to the stock accelerator pedal. Definitely worth the $25 so my kids don't need to retrain their brains to use a thumb or twist throttle on a "car" and not as clunky as those bolt-on pedals.

Cool to find someone else in GA. I'm in Gwinnett County. Just found a rolling chassis that I will be making electric.

That is awesome. I am routinely in Atlanta so if you take it to a track let me know. I’d love to stop by and see it in action. By the way we opted to build a second prototype using an alternating current (AC) motor with 18650 lithium ion cells. Check us out on Facebook .... @VenomKarts

How did the Motenergy ME0708 do? I'm looking for a 48v motor and have seen the ME0708 used before but don't have enough performance details.
