Air filter adapter

So i currently have a 900 series intek briggs & stratton its "apparently" the same exact block as a briggs animal and im trying to buy a new air filter but this is my stock carb what do i need to buy to get a k&n on here. please help me for the love of god.

I dunno, did you measure your bolt hole spacing to see if the specs match?

Then, after you fashion your little makeshift air filter adapter, you measure the outside diameter (OD) of the pipe and use some fancy google-fu to find an air filter whose inside diameter (ID) is the same.

Fleabay has a ton of air filters, both foam and the pleated fabric kind, a la K&N racing 'cone' filters with another bazillion different ID's...but they're ultra low dollar. You'd think there'd be just a few standard sizes but nope.

They have them to fit motorcycles, dirt bikes, scooters, ATVs, go karts and the pit bikes. They're just about universal.

i dont have the bolts coming from my engine for the carb to slide on.(thats what i was calling mounting bolts) You can see that in my picture. Thats what i was calling mounting bolts. im pretty confused here i know nothing about engines. and im just trying to figure this out. here is the measurements of it
