hmm so if i ran a filter and a positive pressure oil pump id be good? im also deciding on just a 6.5HP clone, or a 10-13HP clone. are the bigger HP ones stronger etc?

im also going to try to see if i can get that turbo with a ball bearing cartrige which would help the oiling issue a lot.

Oh wow. Thats the cleanest, most professional small engine turbo I've seen! I would love to just have my briggs just run on the fuel injection!

nope, never heard of that. what exactly does that mean? what was lemega's turbo rated for though? the one on the bike was rated for 240krpm.

As you probably know, a mechanically injected diesel will run on just about anything that burns, this includes used motor oil, natural gas, kerosene, vegetable oil, etc.

The only way to stop most diesel engines is to cut the fuel supply, as they have no ignition system or air flow restriction setup. So when a diesel blows a turbo seal, the engine has an uncontrollable supply of delicious oil, causing it to rev as high as it can until.

A. It explodes
B. It runs out of oil
C. The driver freaks out and crashes hard enough to inflict heavy damage to the engine
D. Air supply is cut by the use of Halon or CO2, or an emergency shutdown safety valve on the intake manifold

I have also read of this happening in oil fields where clouds of natural gas can roam, engines used in these conditions must have an emergency shutdown valve.

You can also try to stall the engine out...throw it in the highest gear and let out the clutch.

dont forget a oil cooler!!! the turbo is cooled by its oil!

good luck finding a tiny turbo with ball bearings... the only way i can think of is custom machinign the housing to fit extremly high quality bearings
