It says somebody on the DIY forum will be able to help you read that, I have not looked at plugs since the 90s

It looks like a rich idle I think.
But it stayed same color on the threads from before.
Performance (butt Dyno) seems like low jetting is ok.
Wish the new plug worked.

I'll learn how to clean the plug and test again. Then I'll cut it up after main jet testing.

Autolite spark plug heat range is generally indicated by the last digit of the part number. Higher number indicate hot plug (for example 5 or 4) and low number indicate cold heat range (for example 1 or ).

Out of curiosity how do you hook the pedals up to a cable. I bought a set of bmi clearance pedals too lol. Helps that my frame is 1" square lol.

My way is not pretty. LOL
I just use nuts/bolts/washers. I wrap cable around a "too big" washer (sometimes between two normal washers) around a bolt with some nuts. My pedals didn't come yet. My cables and pedals are sloppy.

I go with easy and functional over permanent and pretty.

I made sure my shipping was worth it so I bought three 2.00 discs instead of the 1 I needed. Crazy how cheap some of that stuff is.

So all the spark plug Heat stuff cause I think the AR3910X is too cold.

I noticed when pulling the plug, it looked wet. More like gas than oil, but the oil is clean..so??

The AR3911 I am going to try is one range hotter than the AR3910X I've been using.
This plug is a normal grounding strap type.
I think I will be able to get a better read off of this type.

Yes, normal ground strap type I can help you with. The ones you're using may work fine once it's tuned, but reading them is a whole 'nother stretch of road.

I got my tank filled up and ready to put the AR3911 Racing Plug in.

Normal Ground Strap.
One step "Warmer" than AR3910X????
Still "Colder" (according to one site)
Still Racing Plug

11:1 : 1 CR
100 Octane
32 degrees BTDC Ingnition
Open Exhaust Header
gx390 carb
0.026" Pilot
0.042" Main

I will let set the Pilot screw at two out.
Let it warm up.
Cruise for 10 minutes.
WOT for like 0.5 mile and kill it around 6000 RPM before letting off the throttle.
Then I'll come back with pics.

Better off idle with AR3911 plug.
Then I added the muffler and didn't notice much a difference.

I wanna repeat what I told Bob.
If you call in your order on the phone to BMI shipping is better.
Their website does things automatic and an actual person can help.
This ino is direct from BMI customer service.

Was going to take it out a third time.
And repeat just like in the video, but I noticed my rear wheel almost came off. The key was gone and the wheel hub slipped on the axle. It moved like two inches. Would have been scary to loose a wheel at 40+ Mph.

Besides the wheel almost falling off, the TC was still engaged after killing the engine.

Try pushing this thing backwards when the Wheels turn the crank. Good luck!

Mine too.

That is the general consensus I believe.

A few plug readings and we can lock it.
