I was just in the Who's Online section, and with the guests, I noticed that about 90% of rhem are reading THIS thread:http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/showthread.php?t=19

It may be a crazy coincidence, but it tripped off my fishy sensors.

AND! There's over 6000 guests right now! The highest I've ever seen it is about 1000.
Makes me wonder if there's some kind of bot or virus.

Aaand that's neither odd, nor interesting
it's a simple re-query from search engines.
we don't have a search engine plugin installed,
so it counts them as guests, when they are just search engine spiders....
up to 3k of which are usually google (they send one per page),
1k yahoo (they send one per page too, but limit to 1k)
and another k or so msn.. (usually one per thread limited to 1k)
plus some oddballs occasionally. (smaller lesser known searchbots, usually gentle on page impressions... but quant grows bigger and bigger.. maybe they stacked up *shrugs*)

most importantly however it's NOT a site announcement or a suggestion (aka MOVED to OT!)
