I went to the Stihl guy in town for some carb help. He pretty much said he doesn't work on things he just replaces them. He said that I had a walbro carb and he didn't have parts and wasn't gonna get any. Thanks for the help buddy!
But I did get some fuel line while I was there.

Came home and started looking at walbro carbs on line.
Found a rebuild kit and decided before I order I better double check. Went out and scrapped the dirt off the old one an found it's not a walbro, it's a Ruixing.

What ever that means....

Found a whole carb for like 27 bux. On its way. Direct fit. I'm not gonna argue. The rebuild kit was like 18 bux so it's almost a no brainer.

Bought a tube for the rear also.

Got some bearings from the part store and installed. Started a mock up so I can get some spacing bushing made. There were a few pieces of pipe on there but we're too short to do any good. Just rattled on the axle.

Took the gearbox off and inspected it. The Flyweights looked good and the spring was still strong. The friction disc needed a quick cleaning. Nothing funny in there. Looks good, put back together.

Made a few marks and found the gearbox is a 5:1.

I thought parts were gonna be made of unobtanium but I found a website that carried most of the parts on this Chinese turd and other turds.
Partsforscooters.com

I didn't get anything from them but nice to know where to get brake parts and other whatnots.

Here's some pics. I'm gonna go flog the dingo.

Finally got my inner tube. Shoulda ordered from Jack. Might have got here faster.

While I was waiting I removed and cleaned up the front wheel. Nothing exciting unless you want pics of cobwebs and dirt. Sorry no spiders in here. I had to put a patch on the tube but it's all ready to roll now.

Got the rear tire assembled and installed. Took it for a quick, well let me rephrase that, I took it for a spin.

How underwhelming.

The high center of gravity and almost no rake in the forks make for a wierd ride.

I'm not sure how to air up the tires though with out removal.
Those engineers again......:2guns::2guns:

Put a 50 or 60cc kids dirt bike engine on it. That will get it goin good. Although at this point, maybe just cruise down to your nearest dump and leave it there.

I forgot all about this thread and missed the middle part and the current state of affairs. Fine work getting it running.

Doesn't appear to be smoking heavily, in what, 5 seconds of running in that video?

Thanks. I was briefly entertained.
